To expound on the content, the comic is to show the contrast between the styles of work Mario and Sonic do. The sixth panel is Carnival Night Zone's boss where Robotnik uses a giant marble and sucks you inward by giving it a static charge.

It's not as different as you might think. Sonic gameplay was based on Mario gameplay, specifically, power-ups, high speed (the 2D Mario games), and running up walls. Not many people know that Mario actually can run faster than the speed of sound.
